Reasons for a modernization
Technical standards are subject to changes from time to time which influence the efficiency of an escalator. A&T is at your side to support you holistically in modernizing your equipment. Sometimes a small exchange is enough to achieve greater effects.. Get more information on this.
During our work we take all safety-relevant standards into consideration that are required when modernizing a equipment, e.g. by installing individual components such as dynamic braking, marking of steps or skirt brushes. We do, of course, also adapt individual sections such as balustrades or deflectors to the latest safety standards.
Disruptions or other defects could cause long-term, cost-intensive downtimes. We would be happy to advise you on retrofitting or converting the electrification (incl. installation) as well as other components that will significantly increase the reliability of the equipment.
